Shannon has been working in the Aviation Safety and Accident Investigation industry since 1992 and with the Aircraft Rescue and Fire Fighting (ARFF) Working Group since 1997. She has taught classes in Accident Investigation and Aviation Safety and has given numerous presentations for fire fighters. She has flight instructed, flown air charter, and has been an airline pilot since 1991. She's been a check airman on the B-727 and currently flies the Airbus 300.
Accident Investigation topics are adjusted to need. NTSB Party structure, Investigation techniques, Cargo / Passenger differences, Composite and HAZMAT dangers, and many other topics are available.
Aviation Safety issues are broad and can be tailored to the need of the audience. Safety Management, Safety Programs, and what makes them successful are just samples of what might be presented.
Pilot / ARFF (Aircraft Rescue Fire Fighting interaction) this subject also will be personalized to the need of the audience. Safety for both sides of the emergency and how both sides can assist each other is just one such topic.
